The Innocenti was the result of BMC, British Motor Corporation's
association with the Innocenti firm of Italy. With Styling by Ghia,
the Austin Healey Sprite/MG Midget was the rebodied platform for
the Innocenti Spyder. Production was by OSI near Milan. At $2900
U.S. in 1964, the Innoceni was more exclusive and expensive. The
Innocenti was also a bit heavier than the Spridget. While the chassis
was essentially unchanged, the Innocenti incorporated roll-up windows
years before they were incorporated into the Spridget.
Specificatrions:

Wheelbase: 80 inches
Weight: (Spyder) 1595 lbs
(Coupe) 1700
Engines:
1961-67- 948cc
