Dimmer switch removed from floorboard and mounted on side panel; and then also the fuel cutoff switch. On that I just cut the third terminal of the dimmer switch off. Both switches are mounted on 1 inch aluminum angle, with sharp edges chamfered. It's different than the stock arrangement of pedals, but did not take long at all to get used to. Plus the photos make the footwell look more cramped than actual, due to the angle it was taken at.
